I love creative writing. Poetry, short stories and journalism. Not many people lump journalism with creative writing, but gathering information to piece together a story that is relevant to the people around you and making it an interesting read is something I have found to be a great creative outlet. I graduated from college a few months ago with a degree in public relations, and I still don't know what I want to do with my life. I live in a place with practically no entry-level job market, so I'm stuck in retail to pay the bills. I hope that someday my writing can become a career. I hope this site is a good start for that. We'll see how that goes.
My main interests for writing include love (or the lack thereof) music, the arts and my personal experiences. I suppose that is because I like to write about what I know best, and those subjects sum me up pretty well. On occasion, however, I find a topic that is outside my area of expertise that intrigues me. I do love to learn, so I'm not afraid to branch out. The topic just has to catch my attention and have the depth to hold it.
It is very easy to be religious. To truly be Christian is not easy. A person can be religious about anything. I could watch American Idol religiously (I don't, but I know people who do). Religiousness boils down to appearances. The essence of being religious is in doing something over and over again. Someone who is truly Christian will appear religious, because the true Christian will follow Christs example every day as nearly as possible for a flawed human.
