I was born in Redondo Beach, California, by the sparkling sea. I lived in scorching New Mexico, bustling New York (20 minutes from the city) and the flat fields of Illinios before moving to rolling green Michigan; my one true home. After Michigan, I also lived in Illinois a second time, and in Cincinnati, Ohio.
When I was eleven I wrote my first short story and continued writing throughout my childhood. At sixteen I began writing poetry. Since then, my work has been published in numerous anthologies as well as online. I have been recognized by two editor's choice awards from poetry.com, and am finally publishing my first poetry book, From the Shadows, through xlibris publishers.
I am now happily married and live in New Mexico with my husband, Kelly, although I am truly a native of the north! I enjoy swimming, cardmaking, singing, playing the violin and reading. I am hoping to publish a historical fiction geneology series on 17th century pirates soon.

Everything beautiful around me (music, nature, my love for my husband and family), starting with God, and ending with eternity.
Speak a voice still and small howling wind blusters about drowns the shout the moan determination alone an explanation urgently hollering truths as mothers children shoo a voice still and small many pass this person by some are bold others shy but all these jewels be worth the wait for those with wand'ring feet who stay the one whose beating heart opens who seeks more than simple tokens who craves with all a flooding river from a great eternal Giver a voice still and small now and ever stands beside the one with widely opened eyes.
