About me

I have entered my fabulous fiftiesand I must say I'm glad to be leaving my forties behind me.I suffered a stroke in my forties and my grandmother passed away, after seventeen years of being her primary caregiver. We had changed roles, she had been like my mother and for those seventeen years I was like her mother. A few months later , i suffered a stroke , which challenged my speech and caused slight cognitive impairment. My next phase that would challenge my sensibilities would be the empty nest syndrome". My daughter went off to college and I discovered a new passion within myself. I discovered my writing actually revealed the intriguing mystery of my life.

People have told me, I have never looked better. (Wow) Either I was looking terrible before that devastating stroke or people did not see the real me.. I have gone through many months of physical therapy, speech therapy and cognitive therapy. The people I have met along this journey have greatly affected me in a profound way. My discovery has revealed, less is more in most instances. This new sense of awareness had made me a bit more confident. I really was not aware until now, a perspective on people and places are a powerful tool.

I have something very important to share. "Don't waste time", and get on with your life. In that, I'm fearless, but don't worry I still won't sky dive out of a plane or swim with the sharks. I will, however encourage anyone to do what ever their passion is.I want lot's of encouragement too, but I really don't need it to get on with my life. Now what a revelation that is! To me any way. I hope to share my test and testimonies with the readers on the Helium website. Perhaps along the way, I may have helped someone and that will be just fine with me.

Thanks for being interested in me.

Is there such a thing as no fault forgiveness? after all those seeking forgiveness want to be absolved of any wrong doing. it really isn't as bad as it sounds we often humor ourselves with this anecdote. Those doing the forgiveness want the deed exaggerated and blown way out of proportion. Why not just let sleeping dogs lie and go on with life. The deed is done. It is over .It is in the past. That was then, This is now. Why is the person bestowing forgiveness so contrary? Perhaps they want to see the same hurt they felt or inflict the same pain. THE BIBLE states that we must move forward an...
