: About Me

I grew up in middle class America with mixed interests as a child of Christian parents. However, the more I "seasoned" in life, the more I found that the Bible only left me with more questions. I tried ignoring them, but that did not mean they went away. No. They instead, festered.

The more questions I posed to those in the religious "know," the more I began to realize they knew less than even I did. So, if they could not help me, I would have to help myself.

I began this great quest by actually opening up the Bible, and reading it. The more I read, the more I understood. Or so I thought. Like a great ethereal monstrosity of connect the dots, the more complicated everything became. I mean, how is it that God abides by an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, yet Jesus his only begotten Son, is all about turning the other cheek?

And, if God created everything in 6 days but needed to rest on the seventh, what becomes of omni-potent? And, as an omni-potent creation that lords over all that is, why did it take him 40 days and nights (which translates out to some 960 hours), just to write 10 simple commandments?

I could go on, but that is why I wrote "Soul Trap," a 350,000 word book. It answers all these questions, and more. But what is so extraordinary about this book, is that it answers all these questions using only passages from the Bible. After all, there are many books out there written from a personal perspective, but that does not elevate them beyond the status of opinion. I needed more than that; much more. I needed the immutable truth.

I am very much the kind of person that if I hear something strange in the night, to investigate it. Try as I might, there is no going back to sleep with a "bump" in the night looming overhead.

Currently, I am an amateur radio licensed storm chaser for the great state of Wisconsin. I as well hold a chair with the National Weather Service (NWS) in representation of my county. For fun, I like to fly electric powered RC airplanes on windy days. Hey! Everyone needs a challenge.

One of these days, I would like to see "Soul Trap" in commercial print. It is with all of my heart that I would like to see a better world for our children to inherent. I champion this cause because, well, the Bible and those religions spawned by it have had thousands of years to get it right, but still they only spread divisiveness.

The picture I chose to upload is not the best one ever taken of me, but I like it because it express who I am. It was taken by my daughter during a time when I was pumping iron and bulking up (280 lbs) with my one of my old bowling shirts one. It used to fit!
