: About Me

I am 43, live in Peterborough UK and work as a Sales Administrator, although writing is my first love and I manage to fit this in during my lunch hour.

Married with two adult step-children, I have just completed a BSc (Hons) degree in IT and Computing for which I received a 2:1, but I have had a passion for writing since I was a child. According to my mother I started my first novel when I was 7 but have never been published.

I am currently getting to know the characters, through successive interviews, for a novel which I have started writing. But, ultimately, writing gives me so much pleasure I know I would do it whether I am ever successful at it or not.

A born again Christian I feel that God has given me a gift with the written word and I hope to realize it as best I can.

I am inspired by Christ and the quest for knowledge and am an avid reader of just about anything in print, but especially science fantasy, historical dramas, biographies and books on the Christian walk.

My dream would be to work from home making a comfortable living with my writing and traveling the world on the proceeds. I think that is a long way off however, so, for now, I'll just do what I can to keep Helium readers entertained!
