Although a business executive with dual master's degrees in business and healthcare administration, Melissa Zorn finds her secret passion in writing. She's dabbled in poetry and songwriting, but journalism is the piece which interests her the most. Now at the age of 42, Melissa finds herself wanting to share some of life's lessons with others. Helping people to avoid her past mistakes and to find the humor in situations she once could not find humor in is her true goal.

Melissa is married, has one son, a step-son and step-daughter, two cats and three dogs. She loves music, the arts, the beach and motorcycles. She's a chocolate lover and is always game for a great mystery or love story!

Melissa has just recently joined Helium and is looking forward to hearing from other writers and seeking feedback on her work.

a family vacation to Santa's Village when I was four: everything was exciting and anything was possible.

It's my therapy and I figure if it helps me, maybe it will help someone else or at least make them laugh or offer a new perspective.
