My pen name "Edmund Bertram" is from my favorite literary character-a character in Jane Austen's "Mansfield Park." Edmund is the only member of the Bertram family who, as a child, welcomes young Fanny genuinely. Fanny is brought into the family, coming from a very poor background. She has never been wanted her whole life, but Edmund sees something much different in her than everybody else, and as they grow older he continues to be the one who helps Fanny see who she really is and how capable, intelligent of a person she is and how much purpose there is in her life. This describes very much who I am. I am a Christian counselor, so this is my job and a major purpose in my life-helping those who see themselves as worthless and purposeless to find what they are created for and who they really are.
I am a very passionate person, passionate about every area of life, but the center of my life and passions is Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. He gave me this life, so I am passionate about it. I am passionate about all the wonderful people in my life. I am passionate about my adorable pet dog-my best buddy. I am passionate about my hobbies (cooking, music, and movies-especially old classics).

Secondly, Chris's crucifixion accomplished the possibility of human nature stained by the fall of Adam and Eve to be replaced by a new nature. In Galatians 2:20, Paul said "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the...
