About me - John Smith

About me

I was raised in the high mountains of Utah and currently reside in Salt Lake City where I am employed as a Project Manager in the Municipal Water Process division of WesTech Engineering, a mechanical engineering firm that specializes in the design of liquid-solid separation, primarily to clean up the earth's water and make the world a better place by improving people's lives through water.

Education:

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Project Management - Colorado Technical University

Associate of Applied Technology in Auto Collision Repair & Refinishing - Utah State University / Bridgerland Applied Technology College

Briefly me

My passion is ...

My family, the outdoors, hunting, writing, and riding my motorcycle. In that order.

I know too much about ...

Liquid-solid separation and government municipalities.

My parents always told me ...

Be quiet when you are hunting.

My childhood ambition ...

To be a computer programmer. Tried it, hated it.

My favorite memory ...

I have three equal favorites: The first time each of my kids called me "Daddy" and the time I proposed to my wife and she said "Are you serious?".

Why I write ...

I enjoy it, it has always been a passion. I have also worked as an editor and ghost-wrote a major novel. I am currently working on finishing the first of the many novels I have begun that will have my own name as the author.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

Technical specifications (boring!)/Pawn Stars/Murder By Death

My first job ...

Dismantler at wrecking yard (beyond mowing lawns and such).

My best moment ...

When I became a father.

My inspiration ...

My family, hands down!
