As I wait impatiently in the alcove that the librarians have created for Tony Kushner, a playwright that is visiting as part of this year's Writer's Voice at Southwestern Univeristy, I can see him approaching through the window. He comes into the library, and, instead of bringing him directly to our interview, the librarians decide to take him on a tour of our library, and I am destined to wait further. He is just as I pictured him, or seen in photos, really. He is casually dressed in a sports coat and button-up shirt, his curly hair free to do as it pleases. I notice he wears a gold ring ...
