I live in London, England with my husband and young daughter.
From an early age I enjoyed writing, almost like it was my second skin. However, as I blossomed into adulthood, writing took a back seat as I craved for sweet opportunities. Being the typical adventurous Gemini that I am, I wanted to have my hands in the cookie jars of life!
I experienced the highs and the lows of life; happiness, sadness, success, poverty, loss, sound health, illness, faith, fear, irrational love, rational love, old love and new love. I also unleashed my creativity with a succession of short courses; creative writing, fashion design, sewing, knitting, millinery, tie-dye and painting. During this period of my life, I decided a physical transformation was needed. So, I qualified as a fitness instructor and loved every minute of it.
My creative self was akin to a complete jigsaw puzzle - the pieces of my life joined together and actually made sense. I no longer felt fragmented, but so whole. However, I held fast onto the day job, as though my life depended on it.
I wasn't happy just to work 9-5 for Local Government for five years, so, I released myself from the clutches of the "permanent job syndrome" to become a contractor. The money was great, I traveled throughout the UK and abroad, bought all the niceties of life and thought I was blessed. More fool me! I was miserable, tired and had no social life. I worked long hours through my own choice, so as to maintain my lifestyle. I wanted to slow down and eventually I did to the point where I could do the job with my eyes closed. Job satisfaction had gone right out of the window. I expressed to God that I was ready to settle down. My prayer was answered. I met my husband whilst working on my last contract. To cut a long story short, I became engaged, married and had a baby all in one year. Naturally it was a challenging time, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically but I have and am still enjoying being a wife and mother.
What about the writing and all things creative?
I came out of the closet to bring my writing into the open. I have written for a couple of writing agencies, blogs and now here I am on Helium to learn more and meet like-minded people. I'm also learning the art of discipline; waking up early in the morning to write my Morning Pages writing articles, searching for other freelance opportunities and working on a project that involves utilizing my passion for writing, art, health and helping others to realise their dreams.
I have a less than hectic day job, which means I can devote MY precious time doing what I enjoy the most.

It used to be thought that antibiotics were able to cure all infections and diseases but there are some infections that antibiotics cannot treat, for example, viral infections such as colds, flu and herpes, as well as nose and throat infections. Viral infections are caused by tiny organisms that bring about infection and are spread by coughing and sneezing. Bacteria are spread by touching or shaking other people's hands. There are many manufactured cold and flu remedies on the market. However, there are also just as many natural herbs that have been around for centuries that people use to ...
