I'm a stay at home mom who loves the opportunity to watch her child grow. I've always loved to write. Putting pen to paper allows me to release my busy mind in such a freeing and creative way. Journalizing allows me to document my life, gain inspiration, expand ideas and allows me to express my thoughts along the way. I feel fortunate to have a spouse who has given me the freedom to be a full time writer, artist and homemaker. I honor him and our life together by following my dreams.
The following is the Artist Bio of Cristina Mohr:
Cristina has always loved arts and crafting. As a pre-teen/teen she loved making lanyards, making things with beads, drawing, painting, writing, you name the art or craft, and if she hasn't done it she'll try it!
Cristina won a few "young artist" awards through school and community functions. She continued on through high school art classes and expressing herself creatively through many venues like theater and stagecraft. She found herself going to the Make-Up Designory to learn and pursue a career in Make-Up FX for the entertainment industry. While she enjoyed the industry quite a bit, she found herself restless and looking for more.
She then settled down with a wonderful husband who loves to express his creativity with food and wooed her with his cooking skills.
Now a full time mom, Cristina's son is her new inspiration and he brought her back to her artistic routes!
She spends her spare time making jewelry, writing, drawing and painting and loves every minute of it!
She is excited to pursue this new artistic venue because she can express her creativity, produce and promote her art pieces from the comfort of her own home while still tending to her child's needs!
She has quite a few creative projects in the works, including a few manuscripts.
You can find her handmade jewelry at the Banning Center of the Arts in Banning, California and online at

Cristina's personal statement:
"Making crafts gives me a sense of Being. Building things with my hands helps keep me connected to the world. Crafting brings me a little bit of peace in my every day life. My pieces sort of happen organically. The supplies are already in front of me, I just need to bring them together. I often look at the materials and can already see the finished product before I even start. I hope one day to use the arts that I love to become financially independent, to give my husband the gift of early retirement so he can do what he loves, and to give my son and future children the gift of two full time parents! I love creating beautiful, fun things and I look forward to sharing my items with all of you!"
