Born and raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Va. I have been married to my high school sweetheart since 1993. We have one son. Being a military family has taken our family all over the country and created new challenges and opportunities along the way. I feel that being a Homemaker is my calling and am very proud of that job title. Raising the future is the greatest "power" possible.

At 8:30am on September 11, 2001 I was on a treadmill in a gym aboard a Marine Corps Base in North Carolina. Having just dropped off my son at preschool, this was a normal routine for me.
