I was born in Los Angeles, CA, and was raised there until the age of 16 when my mother decided to move back to her home island of St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, taking my siblings and me along with her. I finished my last two years of high school here on St. Thomas, and graduated from the University of the Virgin Islands with a BA in English. I currently teach 12th grade English and Yearbook at Charlotte Amalie High School.
I've always enjoyed writing and sports like basketball and cross-country. I spent a summer as an archery instructor at Camp Twin Creeks in West Virginia. I like to read fantasy and science fiction, but also non-fiction...insights into the way society works interest me. I write poetry, short stories, essays, and have about 4 novels in the making that I'll probably never finish because I'm too lazy and impatient. I blog as well, and that gives me much release.
I dance in clubs, I sing when I walk, and I'm always up for something new.
