I'm a over 50 Mom of two teenage daughters. I'm an unemployed artist that is always searching for a job and that is frustrating at times! This past June marked my 7th year as a cancer survivor and I intend to survive many more years. Married to a wonderful patient man that somehow puts up with my red-headed 'Lucy-ness'. IT helps that I put up with his strangeness also since he is into decorating with Christmas lights set to music. Our goal is to be seen from space. I love red hats and proudly own 20 of them. There are other colors too but red is the best bet with me. I used to be a red hatter but none of us could seem to get on the same page for meetings. Life is tough in small town USA.
I'm a Mississippian by choice. Don't go dissing my home. Its a great place to live. I believe in taking care of my family and being on call for my Mom. As a matter of fact I live right next door to her.
I got a surprise this week when my husband had unlimited texting added to our phones. My daughters have been sending me little messages as fast as their little fingers can send them out. I think I am entering the new age of texting but unfortunately, in my case, its Geriatric texting. As parents we need to understand that email is fast becoming an out of date technology (the kids these days don't roll with the email).
