Darthy JP Johnson is a freelance writer and author of The Journey to Get What You Want out of Life, due for public release in November 2007 (Patton Publishing, Atlanta, Georgia)

She is a the founder and CEO of Women of Character and Purpose, www.womenofcharacterandpurpose.com

Her passion is to inspire, mentor, and empower women and young people.

Johnson is a Motivational Speaker and Trainer/Facilitator for youth and women's conferences; Youth Church teacher. She serves on the Gwinnett County Public School's Curriculum Committee; serves on the School Council; and she is an adjunct instructor at Saint Leo University.

Johnson holds a Master's degree in Business Management from Troy State University and a Bachelor's degree from Mississippi Valley State University. She currently lives in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, Tommy, and son Michael II.
