Born in York, one of England's oldest cities, Tony moved to London after military service, where he ran a business selling military memorabilia. He was also a regular contributor to a number of shooting magazines in the UK.
In 1993, he moved with his wife to Arizona, where they now teach the gentle arts of defensive handgunnery.
The London militaria business, which he called "The Command Post", was later featured in his novel "Snides", which introduced John Pilgrim, ex-SAS trooper, and Sally Brandon, American journalist.
Walker's second novel, which is currently with his agent, finds Pilgrim and Sally living in Arizona, running a shooting school. His articles also appear regularly in Concealed Carry Magazine.
He has just published a new non-fiction book titled 'How to Win a Gunfight', which is a simple guide on how to stay safe when you are at home, at work, or in the street.
Right now, he is dividing his writing time between the third John Pilgrim novel and a thriller, set in London during the 1940-1941 'Blitz' bombings.
