My name is Gaynell Kendrick, I am a self-published author of "Speak It Loud," a collection of 22 poems filled with food for thought. I am a self-proclaimed social Activist raising my 3 beautiful children as a single parent, here in Detroit. I became the first woman journeyman plasterer ever hired by the city of Detroit, and the first woman journeyman in my field to work on the GM Resource Center Project.

I have a small home-based business, "Cafe' Elite Services," Where I provide a wide range of free & for profit services and I am also a partner in a small minority own business, called 4 W.I.S.D.O.M., Teaching the basics to small businesses seeking to do business with the government.

Currently in college and working on my new book entitled,
