Welcome,
I have enjoyed being a writer here at Helium since September 2007.
After serving in the United States Army, and more than ten years in the trucking industry, I decided to return to school. I entered Missouri Southern State University in January 2003. While at MSSU, I served as a staff writer for both the campus newspaper (The Chart), and the campus magazine (CrossRoads). In May 2006, at age 42, I earned my B.A. in Communication with a Minor in German.
My time at MSSU provided opportunities to develop experience in information research, producing newsletters and brochures for activities both on and off campus. I was also able to write historical accounts, research and technical reports. Then, by combining these skills, I was able to convince my History professor to allow me to critique the University's choice of History book. My professor presented this critique to show cause for the University to look into replacing the current text book with a more accurate version for future classes.

This is not a bad thing mind you, because chasing Bass is full of fun and excitement - that is if you are properly equipped to fish for them. When preparing to tangle with "Bucketmouths" the first thing you will need is a good, strong, and powerful rod and reel. As for your rod, you will find that a good 6 foot 6 inch to 7 1/2 foot medium/heavy action rod with plenty of backbone tends to work best. Using a rod of this type ...
