I was born in Annapolis, Maryland in 1979 with a serious illness that took many years to get under control. I was blessed with two wonderful parents who never gave up on my health and sacrificed much to ensure it. I was not able to participate in sports as a child so my attention was turned inward, spawning a need to express myself by way of the written word. I kept a journal for several years, in which I learned to organize my thoughts and give a voice to my feelings. I have no formal training or experience as a writer, but I aspire to somehow make a career out of my passion.
In general, I seek answers to the larger questions in life. God, history, philosophy, psychology, and occasionally science are what move me to read and therefore to write. They are the subjects that appeal most to me intellectually, but none of them can I touch in the literal sense. Their impact is always limited. In life, I find that nothing so captures my desire to write as does the hope of love brought on by a woman. No book can offer such a lucid solution to man's predicament. Love inspires with energy and confidence and security. Many advocate pain as the greater source of fine writing, but I believe both are equally capable of producing the same level of quality and clarity.

The most popular religions are Christianity, Islam, and Hindu respectively. Together their followers make up over four billion men, women and children, or roughly 67% of the world population. Rounding out the top six are Buddhism, Sikhism, and Judaism with a combined total of about 357 million according ...
