Kate started writing Greeting card sayings at her kitchen table about 8 years ago, in an effort to make extra money. While her four year old daughter played in the kitchen and watched her favorite shows, Kate developed card creations selling several sayings to various Greeting Card companies.
When her four year old daughter ran in the kitchen one day, throwing a creation of her own on the table, Kate felt she was doing the right thing. Her daughter had written a book complete with scribbled writing and stick pictures, telling the story of Calla Lilly and her kitty. When Kate asked her daughter about her book, Cal said, "I made a book like you make, Mommy."
Feeling like she was setting a good example for her daughter, Kate continued selling greeting card sayings to several companies. Then Kate discovered Helium, and wrote up a storm for four years, selling about 100 articles to various online and print media. Currently Kate is developing her own writing business, while writing for her four blogs: KT1Writes, Millionaire Celebrities, Naked Housework, and KT1 Writes Parenting.
