The big move to college is scary, even for those people who always keep a cool head in those stressful situations. However, there are things you can do to facilitate your environment change. Come EARLY. There are cutoffs to this, however, as the dorms will not be open too early, and if they are, it is to those wishing to rush into Greek Life. Get there the weekend before and move in at the earliest possible date and time. You do NOT want to be the person at the end of the line waiting for the elevator to get to your room on the eleventh floor, and I speak from personal experience on this. ...
