: About Me

I have enjoyed writing since I was about eleven years of age (a long time ago). I first started out writing poetry, I had my first poem published when I was in seventh grade. Now I like writing mysteries, and I am currently working on a book(s).

I like writing short stories because you get instant gratification. I like the challenge of creating stories to fit other caterrgories that I get here on Heluim.

Helium gives me the opportunity to share some of my writing with others, It gives me such pleasure to find that others enjoy some of my stories.

I love reading and rating on Helium, I enjoy others who share their talents, their ideas and their skills.

My Family is very important to me (that does include my dog) I enjoy being with friends, reading, writing, creating whether it be scrapbooking, cards, or any type of arts and crafts. I also make jewelry, I enjoy watching something take form from start to finish.

I like to express my feelings any way I can. I love to laugh, feel inspired, have fun and always be there if someone needs me...

In hard times when you are filled with despair, something comes along and fills your heart with hope. That's how I felt when I was about twelve years old, my family was going through such hard times. Money was scarce and so was food, at the end of the month choices were made, to pay the rent on time or to buy food. There were four children counting myself, and then there was my mother, father, along with my grandmother who also lived with us.
