Mother of two, grandmother of one - oldest child of 9 born to two of the best parents one could have! Raised to respect God, others and myself. Always do my best and be proud of who I am.
Never written a published article - only did some writing for college. Enjoy reading, talking with friends and good fellowship.
Have 4 brothers and 3 sisters - all of whom I love dearly and am glad to be the oldest! That gives me a bit of seniority and certainly able to tell the most memorable stories. I like to tell my younger brothers and sisters that I changed their diapers - they have not had the pleasure to do that for me (not yet!).
Helping Mom was just something I did because she relied on me. I never thought of letting her down. She is such a wonderful lady and I am proud to be her daughter.

That in itself was major because she never went to a hospital except to give birth to her 9 children! When she arrived at the hospital it was discovered that she had a large tumor in her stomach. Upon removal, the doctors said it was cancer but due to its being contained in a sac, they 'hoped' it would not be an issue but just to be sure, they wanted her to have chemotherapy.
