A hotel versus a vacation rental home is a tough call in many cases. Our primary objective on vacation is to have fun, relax, but to try to save money where we can, so a vacation rental is the perfect option for us. We have a 14 month old daughter, so the thought of being in a one room hotel room with her screaming as she tries to fall asleep with us 5 feet from her is not my idea of relaxing or fun.
