About me - James Jenkins

About me

I am a college student / film maker / screenwriter / actor. Writng is my passion though. My writing style is I do not have one, atleast not a rigid strict, book style. If I had to give it a name (my style) I'd simply say I write how I talk.
If more people did this life would be so much more easier for all of us. We'd communicate better. Why use big words to show that you have a large vocabulary when noone knows what you are saying without a dictionary?
I write it how I talk it, and will share my views and opinions freely.

Briefly me

My passion is ...

writing.

I know too much about ...

films and movies.

My parents always told me ...

if you hang with 9 idiots you will be number 10.

My childhood ambition ...

was to be the president of the U.S. Only cause at 8 I thought he made the most money of all people.

My favorite memory ...

seeing my son born.

Why I write ...

because I have to. The many ideas, stories, and characters within me want out and can only be freed when I bring them to life through writing and or film.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

reading make-up for stage and video, watching CNN (always), and I listen to all types of music.

My first job ...

was at Kent Communicatons in Grand Rapids, Michigan, a mail processing plant.

My best moment ...

seeing my son born.

My inspiration ...

to become a successful individual in the film, video, and or journalism field so that I can help others like me succeed.

That said, I watched The General starring Buster Keaton for my film class. This film, in my opinion is nothing more than the "Waterworld" of 1926. For those who do not know
Waterworld is a 1995 post-apocalyptic science fiction film. The film stars Kevin Costner who also produced it. Water...
