About me - Richard Evans

About me

For 13 years he was a US Army Counterintelligence Special Agent. He followed that with spells as a Director of Security and Safety at a hospital and Media Director for an international air show.

Now Richard Evans is taking it a little easy.

A US citizen, Richard and his wife now live and work in Guayaquil Ecuador. They both teach English - Lisa to students preparing for US colleges and Richard to pilots and Air Traffic Controllers. Richard also writes in his ample spare time, when he can get away from his favorite position: sharing hammock time with Ellie, their adopted Quito street dog.

Richard recently finished a rewrite and update of the travel guide "Brit's Guide to Las Vegas" for Foulsham Press (UK) which was released in February 2008. He also writes about travel, poker and real estate investment.
