I grew up in Rhode Island and joined the US Air Force in 1982 at the age of 17. Been all over Asia and actually live in Korea for nine years and Japan for another two. I spent a total of 3 years living and traveling in Suadi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Dubai, Omar, and Quatar. Been to a few other places around the world that I really liked and quite a few I would rather not return to.
I retired in October 2004 due to medical reasons and decided to make Missouri my home. I married the beautiful Rosita M. Dano in October of 2005, in San Roque, Talibon, Bohol, Republic of the Philippines. (I asked her to marry me and she said yes, BUT only if I asked her father and he said it was OK. I flew to San Roque to ask Pappa if I could marry his beautiful daughter.)
Currently we have a small farm that raises turkeys, chickens, geese, ducks, pigs and cows. I love to discuss the animals, care, feeding, selling, butchering with anyone that is interested. We raise our own vegetable and meat, trying to be self sufficient.

I was recently faced with the old dilemma again. It appears I need to buy underwear. This is not an easy decision for me. I like my underwear, they are comfortable. It covers (mostly) what it was designed to cover, the elastic band is not too awfully stretched and the holes are repairable. However, I caught my wife tossing my drawers out! Yup, right into the trash with-out even consulting me. When I confronted her she hit me with that old line, "But what if you get hit by a car and have to go to the hospital?"
