About me - Don MacIver

About me

A published author of poetry, I reside with my loving wife Andrea on Vancouver Island off the west cost of British Columbia, Canada in the Pacific northwest.

Inspired by Andrea, my family, friends and fellow writers around the globe, and the beautiful natural surroundings of this magnificent corner of the world I write of personal experiences and my observations of events occurring locally and around the world.

I write from a diverse range of themes including romance, travel, nature and the environment, conflict, addiction, illness, death and much more.

In addition to writing poetry I write articles about writing poetry and also writing in general, motivations, inspiration, tributes and more.

My most recent writing interest is in freelance writing and I am pursuing commercial opportunities for that endeavor.
