Yes, leadership is earned.

Have you ever picked up the newspaper to see the front page saying, "A Leader was Born Today." The article continues, saying there was a leader who was born today weighing in at nine pounds six ounces, and at twenty one inches long. If you have seen this, then I hope you will forward it on to me because I haven't. The bottom line is leadership is not a natural attribute that we are born with.
