The best way I've found to locating an oil leak is to first completely clean the engine, whether it be using a power washer (minding your pressure) or using an engine cleaning solvent. Also, watch spraying your wiring harness and plug wires, It'll save you a lot of headaches later. Once you've got the engine clean then let your engine idle for awhile.
