About me - Kelly Mastanduno

About me

I am a 32 year old mother to 7 young children and pregnant with what will probably be our last. I have been married for 8 years to my best friend. I have experience with early education and home schooling, natural birthing and home birthing, mental health, the ups and downs of marraige, and of babies and children in general. I love being a mommy, but when my kids are old enough to start their own lives, I am looking forward to going after my doctorate in clinical psychology and counselling psychology.

I am originally from Long Island New York and relocated with my family three years ago to rural Georgia. I enjoy bellydancing (for fun and fitness, not on stage!) and yoga. I also love to read both fiction and non-fiction. I am constantly striving to learn something new and spend alot of time online browsing the world wide web.

Writing here at Helium is an outlet for me. I enjoy sharing what I know with others, as well as reading peer articles to learn something new or see a different point of view.
