In my early teens, I used to work at a video store and can remember feeling funny, almost dirty, when restocking the shelves with certain movies. The graphics on the VHS boxes are still vivid in my mind, topless women with ecstasy and pain written all over their faces. And blood, there was always blood splattered across the image. Then as I got a little older and more curious, I viewed a couple of these films, and that funny, dirty feeling turned into guilt.
