About me

Robert (RJ) is a freelance writer. He writes prose and poetry of his own. He has been at Writers' Village University (WVU) for years; where he has taken courses, co-founded a Creative Writing Workshop, created a course in procrastination which he facilitates. RJ is the moderator of the Creative Writing Workshop, and Passion for Prose focus writing group. He is a member of The Children's Hour a focus group concerned with writing for children to young adult (YA).

RJ reviews books for AllBooks Review, and has ghost written book reviews. He has edited a manuscript for AllBooks Reviews, also independent editing. He is also a copy editor for T-Zero Qyuarterly and ToTheCenter.com.

In February 2006, RJ entered into Freelance writing. He has over 300 published content blog posts. It has been his dream to be a writer that gets paid to write. Further, by his Freelance writing, he hopes to improve his writing, and get his stories completed and published some day. RJ is writing a book about freelance writing, and has other stories in various stages of progress.

RJ has completed articles, and book reviews for different individuals for pay.He looks forward to doing even more freelance writing for pay in the future.

RJ believes in paying it forward. He also has numerous blogs, and groups, he is on MySpace, FaceBook, and Twitter. He also created a social network for freelance writers on ning.com.

RJ moved from California to a small town in Kansas in June of 2008. He is in the process of painting the house with his wife, and will be writing more articles at Helium soon.

RJ attends The Muse Writers Online Conference each year, also The Catholic Writers' Guild online conference, he has moderated at the CWG conference. He will be presenting a course about becoming a freelance writer at the Muse conference.

RJ has completed the Essential Skills for Proofreaders course.

RJ has begun writing a book about freelance writing to answer the questions that people continually ask him about freelance writing.

Many sites offer freelance writing jobs lists and places to bid for work. If you decide to use a bidding site, be warned that many will charge a percentage of your writing income for the project; also, there will be many bidders and the pay is low.
