My name is Becky Benson and my family and I live in Washington state. My husband and I have been married for almost seven years now and we have a five year old daughter as well as another baby girl. My full time job is as a full time mom and I love every minute of it. My girls are my world.
Aside from all of that I am interested in scrap booking where I document every photo captured memory of practically everything I do. I also like outdoor activities like camping, hiking, and mountain biking. I am a hostess at heart. I love preparing meals and events for my family and friends. Pretty much when you combine good food with good friends and a warm environment it makes for a great time.
I write for the experience and enjoyment of it, and to share my thoughts and adventures with everyone else. Last year I had my first book published, a children's book. It was a story I told my mom at the age of three, and very close to my heart. It's my creative outlet and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Well I suppose that's me in a nutshell.

Yes! Yes! Yes! How can this even be a debate? As if the importance of the father-child relationship is any less valuable to that of the mother-child relationship. Of course there are extenuating circumstances where EITHER parent may not be a suitable role model or caretaker for the child in question, but we are not talking about that. This is a debate for the right of a father, who equally created a child, to have equal right and responsibility in the rearing of that child. I write form the point of view of the sister of a wonderful man whose importance in his own children's life was overl...
