I am a 28 year old stay at home mother of 5 girls aged 5 years and under. I live with my partner and brood in a small country town called Gympie, which is credited with setting up the state of Queensland because of the gold mines here.
My background is varied. Certainly, I have learned alot in my 28 years and experienced alot too. I have studied and worked in both farming and the hospitality industries, the highlight of which was working at the equestrain center during the 2000 olympics.
I have been writing since I was able to hold a pen and have never stopped. What I write depends on how I feel, the time i have and what is going on around me. I try to tackle any topic and any form of writing, though some I still have to learn more about before I am happy with them.
Life has been both a blessing and cruel, but I never let it get me down and even count the bad things I have been through as positive experiences because they have helped to shape the person I am.
My greatest writing ambition is to have a book published, though with 5 children to look after, the actual writing of said book is rather slow and tedious. I think I have managed something like 200 pages in 3 years. I will get there in the end, and in the mean time, I will keep writing what I can when I can.
I run my own website, which is really just a blog of my life and what is going on in it, so feel free to have a look and see just how crazy I really am, it is at least worth a laugh for my rather limited computer knowledge.
Feel free to contact me if you have an other questons. Who knows, your question could become my next helium article.

Washing Your Precious Finished Pieces
You have completed your handiwork and are looking forward to having it framed or used in another project. You have spent hours stitching away, unpicking, re-sewing and putting your heart and soul into your work. The end result is pleasing to the eye and you are very proud to have finally finished your project, especially as it may have taken you a while to do. Now, you need to wash it to bring back the original colour of the fabric, because over time, the oils from your hands and the dirt and grime of life have conspired to make your work seem messy...
