Hi
I am 59 , retired , married with four adult children and have spent a lifetime dealing directly with the public via the finance industry .
Like so many people I have experienced the "slings and arrows of outrageous fortune" that life has to offer. I have known such joy as to believe in that marvelous song "What a Wonderful World" I have also known such utter despair as to " take arms against a sea of troubles and by opposing end them " Fortunately those "arms" were not available and I continue to battle with the sea of troubles.
At times those seas seem more like mighty oceans.
What I have found in life is the value of family and friends. From them I draw my strength and the will to survive. I have learned that the best thing you can do for a person is to show care and consideration but above all extend encouragement for there is enough negativity already without you adding to a person's burden.
My passion is ...
health wealth and hapiness , maybe not in that order
I know too much about ...
money , how to get it and keep it eludes me though
My parents always told me ...
always be a good boy, don't ever play with guns .I dont have any plans to go to Reno.
My childhood ambition ...
to be a doctor
My favorite memory ...
the earliest recollection of the Easter Bunny
Why I write ...
I missed my calling
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
anything and everything
My first job ...
delivering medicine
My best moment ...
My wedding . My mother said it would never happen
My inspiration ...
My mother
From ash you came
Only to return
Like all others before
The same
A Circle
From dependence you rose
Only to return
To reliance on others
At the close
A Circle
And the love you've shown
Only to return
From all others
Family and friends you've known
A circle
So to ash you go
Only to return
In our hearts and mind
Memories just so
A circle
