: About Me

Hello and thanks for being interested enough to find out more about the lady behind the words. I am a 44 year old happily married female, born in Yorkshire England, but raised on the mean streets of Cooksville, Ontario, Canada. My claim to fame is the ability to maintain my outrageous sense of humor during life's most trying moments. ( and trust me there has been a lot of them!) I am one of those twisted individuals who like to do my part to try to make this messed up world a better place. I love to laugh at myself, and if you were to ask my friends they would confirm that Hil is quite willing to make a fool of herself in order to make them laugh. I have two children, my daughter who is 17 going on (...well you fill in the number!) and my 14 year old son who is Autistic. My writing will be filled with tales of both of their adventures and of course a lot of my own. I have been told for years that I should try my hand at writing and being as the keyboard has a delete button, and real life doesn't ( yes there has been times I really should have remembered to put a filter in my mouth before leaving the house!) I am looking forward to adding high numbers to my articles and hope my thoughts, adventures, opinions, experiences make you laugh, smile, think, cry or motivate you to be a nicer person, cause mean people really suck!
