: About Me

"My thoughts create my world."

My world is obtuse, blunted by all the things that are warring against themselves inside of me. Feelings of deep inner discourse ricochet off tiny moments of vanity and joy. Like sunshine on a mirror, they all force their way to the surface and have their brief time to shine. If I ever seriously decide to write a novel, I'd have to start 100 of them because of all the ideas I've got whirling around my head, I couldn't pick just one. It would end in bloodshed, in laughter, in tears, in disenchantment, in birth and in death because it's all a part of me.

But chin up, I've got a lot of fight left in me for this minute shred of time I call my life. I've got to leave my mark on this world somehow, and I'd rather be an unknown, mediocre writer/artist than someone who got married, had kids and lived an ordinary shell of existance and was blinked away without the faintest distinction between herself and the rest of the drone of humanity. I'd rather suffer with all the demons in the world than to just fade away like childhood, not missing it til it was completely and utterly over.

All that serious bullshit aside, I love to travel, I can speak fluent French and I'm learning Japanese, I love getting inebriated and dancing around like a content clam. I've got amazing friends, they color my world and make me laugh, laugh, laugh. We all run so fast but somehow we manage to keep up with each other. Ideally I'd love to get into some sort of humanitarian profession. I enjoy volunteering locally, and I've been involved with Literacy Volunteers of America, Rock the Vote and grassroots campaining for Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. I'm extremely sarcastic and more often than not, I'm laughing to myself inside my own head. Insanity fascinates me. I'm an ace at cards, I've gotten sucked into chess and I've played ps2 til my poor thumbs have become sad little stumps. I'm saving up to buy a really great Nikon since I like to dabble a bit in photography. My art is my life, I could draw and paint for the rest of my life and be a very happy lady. I'm going to take up the violin again, I miss it so. I like singing sweet, melancholy French lounge songs. I'm a quiet girl with shy tendancies but I make up for it with nice teeth and a smashing ass.
