My name is Mohammed Shuaib Sheikh. I am a happily married 70 year old man enjoying a mixture of the freedoms associated with retirement and the satisfaction associated with social work. I am a British citizen of Pakistani origin. I am proud of being British and Pakistani although I don't always agree with either of the countries or their policies. But that is a healthy attitude.

My last job was in race relations as director of a Racial Equality Council in a London Borough. I support causes and not people or parties. Anyone who is good for humanity is good in my books. I strongly believe in loyalty and recognition of acts of loyalty. My first article The History of US Pakistan Relations conveys that outlook clearly.
