: About Me

Julie is married and has 2 sons. Her oldest son is 17. He has ADHD, and her youngest son is 15 and is on the autism spectrum. Very high functioning.  She is very proud of both sons. They have both worked hard and they are both good kids.  Julie has previously worked as a substitute as an Educational assistant in special ed as well as regular ed classes.  She has also worked 1-1 with students to help them integrate into the regular class room. Right now Julie is going to school to become a Preschool teacher, and hopes to go on to become an Elementary Ed. teacher.  Julie is a Christian and she will not hide the fact that she loves the Lord  God with all of her heart.

becoming the person God wants me to be.

My son's friends, and their problems. But, knowing what I do makes it easier to understand the problems that my son has.

My parents always told me ...

because my brother and I faught so much, my mom used to always say. "You two remind me of an old man and an old woman I used to know."

My childhood ambition ...

To get married, and have kids, and live in a nice house........

My favorite memory ...

is going fishing with my dad and my brother.

It is the one way that I have always been able to express my self most easily

My first job ...

I worked in the mail room for a mail order business that sold foot supports.

My best moment ...

Meeting Jesus at summer camp in Aug of 1977. My actual birthday, and my birth in Christ are very close, because I was born on Aug 24.

My inspiration ...

My best friend Susie, who knows more about me than anyone. But my biggest inspiration is my Lord and Savior, Jesus.

For many years I didn't set any goals, and have gone absolutely nowhere in life, spiritually, and otherwise.  Last year I  made an unspoken goal to get my life in line with what God wants me to do and be, and while I'm doing better with that, I'm far from meeting this goal. This is one goal that I think all of us should be setting every year. So while I set this goal again, I do it with the knowledge that it will be an ongoing goal that I need to constantly be working toward. My new spiritual goals this year, along with the one stated above, are going to be mostly about my growth...
