About me

I'm a 33 year old wife and mother of four children. I work full time as a staff accountant with a firm in Oklahoma.

I was raised mostly by my father in Southern Oklahoma in a town named Wapanucka. If you can't pronounce it don't feel bad most people couldn't that didn't live around there. I miss living there but I will not be going back to live.

Earlier this year my oldest daughter had her first child giving me my first grandson. I foresee the other children growing up just as quickly as she did and I wish them all the best in their adventures. Life after all is but a journey.

I graduated from Murray State College of Tishimingo in 2001 with an A.A.S in Business Management. While there I was the Vice President of Communications for Phi Theta Kappa.

While attending MSC I had the privilage to be one of the first to participate in a program designed to focus on the Dynamics of Leadership. This presented a great opportunity and experience like none I have experienced since. Meeting the First Lady of Oklahoma and the great mentors that MSC gathered was exciting and very encouraging. This course combined with the inspiration of Mrs. Willa Dean Caldwell (a wonderful instructor) was the reason I went on to pursue my next degree.

I also was the Treasurer for the Business Club at MSC and graduated as a member of Alpha Epsilon Chapter (Phi Theta Kappa), Murray State College - 2000(Visionary - International Alumni Association)

Later in 2004 I graduated from East Central University with my B.S. in Accounting. Hardest years I ever experienced was leaving my spouse, having a baby, working full time, and attending full time at ECU but I assure you every minute was worth it.

Now I currently attend University of Phoenix online because of the flexibility in scheduling. Although I am searching for a more local hands on way to seek my Master program.

My goals include sitting for the CPA exam within two years. Using my experiences from the past and present as a staff accountant I plan to explore the avenue of becoming a shareholder with the firm I work for currently sometime in the next five years.

I run an Ebay store/auctions as well as I recently opened my own online discount store.

Briefly me

My passion is ...

Numbers-Probably why I am an accountant.

My parents always told me ...

Things happen and you have to just let it roll off your back and not let it drag you down.

My childhood ambition ...

School was my life.

My favorite memory ...

Very hard to say when you have 4 children to pick just one memory. I will come back to this one.

Why I write ...

I enjoy expressing my opinions, thoughts, and feelings in a way that others can relate to or even disagree with. I love feedback more than that and the idea that someone else may show me I am wrong or that they have a better solution to problems.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

We watch a lot of CSI, NCIS, Law & Order. I love sci-fi and country music.

My first job ...

Sonic-Funny story behind that one. Maybe someday I will write about it.

My best moment ...

Giving birth to my oldest daughter. To be that young and naive again would be bliss.

My inspiration ...

Mrs. Caldwell-She was an instructor at MSC where I went back to college and the inspiration for me to continue on and change my career goals.

Marketing for eBay comes natural to some while others struggle to get their feet wet so to speak. Here are a few quick suggestions that are easy to implement:

1) Blogs If you are a member of a blog then use it and eBay users are allowed to use the eBay blogging system to advertise as long as they do not do consistent spamming. They often play games in the blogs for frequent bloggers that get you free advertising. Make a friend or two in there and ask them to place you on their favorite sellers list. If you are having a sale; announce it along with one of your other posts of the day if y...
