Hi, I'm Steve Hare.I live in Grandview, Mo with my wife of 22 great years,Mary, my daughter, Rebekah (21), our son Joshua(19), and our most entertaining and very spoiled cat, "Tess". We also have two older sons, Joe and Michael, who still live in the vicinity, but are no longer at home.
A contemporary psalmist, music minister and poet, I have been playing acoustic guitar for about 25 years, leading worship and sharing the Lord with guys in jail for about 10 years. I also play in local coffee houses.
More recently, I began writing and reciting poetry, and started leading poetry discussion groups for teens and adults in public libraries here in the Kansas City area.
I have managed the Turf Maintenance Division for a lawn and landscaping co. for the past ten years, and this will be my last season, December being my last month. Don't know where the funding will be coming from, but I am trusting that through whatever source, the Lord will provide for us.(aside from the Lord), but I am pursuing full-time prison ministry even as I write this.
