Hi
I am a small business owner on Long Island, NY. I love to write short stories, plays, opinion pieces, and advice and self help articles, and just about anything else I think I have something useful to say about.
I was lucky enough to get involved in community theatre a couple of years ago, and have written 5 short comedy pieces that were produced locally. I attended the first couple of plays that I wrote, and thought the actors were having such a good time that I asked for a part in the next play. Two years and over forty appearances on stage later, I am totally hooked on acting. I urge any writer looking for an outlet to check out their local community theatre groups. You may find that acting, much like writing, gets us the attention we so desperately crave!
What else? I'm a good husband married to the greatest wife in the world. Damn, I'm lucky!
So in between working 70 hours a week, squeezing in some time for community theatre, preparing to be president of my local chamber of commerce, I stumbled upon Helium. Damn, I'm Lucky!

Not Quite Her Hearts Desire Setting: A dirty restaurant. A couple, Cliff and Michelle, are sitting at a table. Throughout the meal, Cliff is secretly scribbling notes in a small notebook. MICHELLE Cliff, this place is awful. Your profile on DesperateSingles.com said you enjoy fine dining. CLIFF Well, it has a certain ambience. If you look past the filth and the roaches, it has kind of a charming character. MICHELLE If you consider E-Coli and Salmonella charming, then yes. CLIFF At least we didn't have to wait for a table. MICHELLE There might have been a wait for the table, had they decide...
