: About Me

There are words that give us a view into the mind and heart of various kinds of people within our world or those worlds dreamed up. Then there are those words that swept us up and take us on a journey, filled with adventure , tumult and hope. As a child writing became my play field. The land of words and characters where every maiden had a hero. Born a southern, I am a native Georgian. My life's experiences still inspire me and serve my writings very well.
I have written two novels, one published poem and have had part of my life's biography nationally published in a collection along with 20 other womens' stories from across America regarding our surviving with heart disease. I write advise for women that are newly diagnosed with Cardiac Disease and have submitted articles for publication in a national health and women's workout magazine.
My passion for the written word has no limit as my mind takes it's journey far beyond the reaches of my everyday existence. Here in my world of created lands, with created names and faces I am at home, healthy and happy, able to be captain of my own ship.
