I, myself, discovered my love for writing since I was a kid. It started with writing letters to my family and friends, my way of corresponding to them. I also started to be lyrically inclined, with creative juices flowing with poetry and lyrics for self-made songs. I got to admit that I am not always in a writing mode. It also takes inspiration for me to grab that pencil or pen or even hit the keys on a keyboard. Motivation keeps me going.
From one of the writing workshops I have attended before, one of the things that has stuck to mind on what our main speaker said: "that in writing, it's like committing suicide." To seek your goal in becoming a writer, one would have to face the facts that come with financial woes on it, that there is no guarantee of financial gain. It is like shooting for the moon in a long, long, long shot! We were wisely advised to also find some other ways to earn bucks. I do a bit of online writing here and there, blogging, etc. As they say, "nothing ventured, nothing gained." What about you, what steps are you making to take that leap with your pen? I am learning the ropes in bowling, figuratively speaking about writing, not really that good at it, but who knows - I just might get that lucky strike!

I also have the desire to reach out to as many people as I can through my writings in any part of the world, hopefully touching people's lives in a way that I can.
Having used the dinosaur-era kind of camera for quite a number of years, it was such a delight for me when I finally got my own digicam last year. I have been gifted with it and that makes it all the more precious for me.
For starters, reading the manual that comes along with the digital camera is helpful. There are new things to learn about high-technology. Making sure that before you go out on a trip or photoshooting spree, always have your digicam fully charged. You'll never know when your handy camera would run low in battery. Remember to check its battery status before heading ou...
