Dale Cox is a writer and historian. A native of the quaint Northwest Florida community of Two Egg, he has written or edited a number of books on the history of the Southeast.
His books include the 2007 release, "The Battle of Marianna, Florida." The book has been acclaimed by reviewers as an outstanding history of a small Civil War battle. His other publications include "The Battle of Natural Bridge, Florida" and "Two Egg, Florida: A Collection of Ghost Stories, Legends and Unusual Facts."
Cox's career as a journalist has included tenures with some of America's largest media companies, including The New York Times Company.
