Since grade school, I have enjoyed writing as long as I was interested in the subject or had some artistic license.

I am a Chemical Engineer by trade and training, but I recently left the traditional work place to stay home and be with my Preschool son. I love it!

Now my interests are centered within preschool and primary education.

Yesterday was a weird weather day filled with intermittent rain that would pour for 5 minutes at a time, anytime, unannounced by thunder or lightning. A visit with our neighbor with an umbrella overhead left my 4-year old intrigued. It was his first time to "man" the umbrella and he didn't want to abandon it after the visit. I took the opportunity for a neighborhood walk with my son (and his large red and white umbrella) and my short Corgi named "Rudy".
