My name is Nicole Dayton and I have been a music student at LCC for 7yrs now. My goal is to someday go to school up in Portland called Marylhurst University in Portland Oregon where I can get a degree in music therapy. But before that I want to feel like I can be more independent. What I'm talking about is that I have Cerebral Palsy which limits me physically as to what I can do every day. I am try out ways to earn money, and having fun along the way. Like I said before I am a music student and I am ready to take the next step towards independence by breaking free from my parents by living on my own like any 25yr old would do. Why I Want to Become a Music Therapist

Music has always been a way for me to be accepted into the world. With most children, when they are growing up, they either participate in sports, activities, clubs, or even in girl scouts.
