I'm getting a major in web development and computer science. I've been web designing and coding websites for nearly 9 years on my own on top of that Among my other interests are writing (thus why I'm here), and reading. Here on Helium I love to write in the Technical, Education, Personal Finance, and Creative channels.

When I first read this question to myself, my first response was no. Surveys just earn you measly cents. Other online gigs? Either scams, hard to be successful in, or a few more pennies to add onto your survey total.Then I started to think about it a bit more closely.
