I was born on an Airforce base, of course not my choice, and traveled the states till I was 12, where my family settled in Washington State, I have lived here since.
The Pacific Northwest is a beautiful place to live. I know of nowhere else, you can see the splendor of powder snow on the ski slopes to the pounding waves of the ocean in the same day.
I am disabled and in a power wheelchair. I have only been disabled a few years, and I am learning a great deal, by learning to live in a non disabled world. I am also very overweight, and if those two things don't make it easy to get around in our world, nothing is. But it makes me stronger. I am looking forward to writing and sharing my thoughts and opinions.

My family had just arrived in Hawaii while my father was stationed at Hickam Air-force Base on Oahu. I was six years old and would be changing schools to attend kindergarten. We did not have housing set up on the base yet, so I was to attend a school off the base until there was housing available.. The first day, I saw my friend Billy.
